Plyometrics X... and more stuff

Today is Tuesday, and that means that Plyometrics X is the workout of the day. And boy did it kick my ass this time. I gave it everything I had and then some. Getting in shape sure can be tough. For those of you who don't know, plyometrics is defined as: a type of exercise using explosive movements to develop muscular power, esp. bounding, hopping, and jumping (thank you, Dictionary.com). Plyometric workouts are especially good for athletes who want to improve their performance on the field (or track, or whatever). I've already noticed an improvement in my lateral movement in the few short weeks that I've been on the P90X program. This program is definitely all it's cracked up to be, and I look forward to doing it every day.

And now on to more important things. Tomorrow is Wednesday, and we'll be one more day closer to football on Thursday night. Not to mention Flag Football starting up this weekend (more on that later). So, I've got to hit the sack and save some energy for tomorrow's workout and practice.
