Remind Me...

.. to never take off two weeks from the gym again.

This morning Sonya talked me into heading back to the Y. I haven't been since the Friday before Lilly was born (which was March 6th I think). I had made it up to 5.25 miles before then so I know going back this morning was going to be a bit of a letdown. But, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.

My goal was to run for 25 minutes and run at least 2 miles. I was able to do it without any problem. Although, my iPod died about 30 seconds in so I had to do it with no musical motivation. I think it's on its way out (but don't tell Sonya that 'cause the last thing I want to do is have to buy a new one).

Anyway... so it's good to be back on track again. It's only one day, but you have to start somewhere. Also, I weighed myself this morning for the first time in a couple of weeks. I've dropped a total of 18.4 pounds! I find that UNREAL because of Sonya's parents being in town for over a week and cooking everything under the sun... and of course I HAD to eat it to be polite!
